Visit the job page you want to apply to. AutoTaylor reads the visible company, role, and job description.

Why was no job description found?
Wait until the listing is fully loaded, then reopen AutoTaylor. If the job is inside a popup or embedded frame, open the full job-detail page first.
Which resume files are supported?
AutoTaylor accepts PDF and DOCX source resumes and exports the tailored result as an editable DOCX file.
Why did the AI request fail?
Confirm that the selected provider matches your API key, the key has available usage, and the provider is reachable. Your provider may show the exact billing or rate-limit issue.
Does AutoTaylor invent experience?
It is instructed to use only facts present in your resume. Always review the downloaded document before submitting an application.
Where is my API key stored?
The key is kept in Chrome's extension storage on your device. It is sent only to the AI provider you select when you request tailoring.
How is the file named?
Your tailored document uses the company name and your name, making each application version easy to find.

What the extension handles
- Your name, uploaded resume, selected provider, and API key are stored locally in Chrome extension storage.
- The visible job description and resume content are sent only to your selected AI provider when you click Tailor Resume.
- AutoTaylor does not sell personal data, run advertising trackers, or maintain a remote resume database.
- You can remove locally stored information by clearing the extension data or uninstalling AutoTaylor.
